Performance Analysis System of Public Sector Banks in Sri Lanka

Abstract

Today Banking Sector plays a considerable role in the economic development and business improvement in Sri Lanka. In this research researcher measured the performance of public sector Banks in Sri Lanka. In recent years many private sector banks have established their activities in Sri Lanka. Therefore, Public Sector Banks faces lot of problems to overcome their competitors and provide better service to their customers. In this research researcher identified the defects of service in these government sector banks and given the remedial action to overcome those problems.
